OSAGE BEACH, Mo. -- Witnesses report the suspect involved in a high-speed chase was seen attempting to elude police swimming in Lazy Days Cove. 

The Highway Patrol reportedly took the suspect into custody by boat. 

The suspect was taken to Public Beach No. 2, where he was transferred to a law enforcement vehicle for transport to jail.

OSAGE BEACH, Mo. -- Eye witnesses report a high-speed chase in Osage Beach.

According to witnesses, a truck raced through the parking lot of Central Bank, off of Hwy KK, jumped the median, crossed the street and jumped the curb at Eagle Stop Gas Station. 

Eye-witnesses then saw multiple police vehicles racing down Airport Road.

According to a string of public reports to LakeExpo, the police chased the vehicle into the airport, where the suspect eluded capture and headed back to Osage Beach Parkway.

Motorists should beware of spike strips in front of Florida Direct Palm Trees on Osage Beach Parkway.
