MACKS CREEK, Mo. — Ballparks National today announced that Jeff Vernetti has stepped down as General Manager to pursue a career in politics and other professional opportunities. Vernetti’s departure marks the end of a successful five-year tenure during which he made significant contributions to the growth and development of the sports complex.
“It has been the realization of a dream to help create and then run Ballparks National since our inception. I’m very excited to serve our District as our next State Representative and I will continue to support BPN as part of the ownership group. The company has some amazing things to look forward to ahead and this great staff is ready to lead the way,” said Jeff Vernetti.
"We would like to thank Jeff for his leadership over the past five years and we wish him nothing but the best in his future," said Randy Markel, Managing Partner of Ballparks National.
Effective immediately, Dallas Martz of Alton, IL will step into the role of General Manager at Ballparks National. Martz brings a wealth of experience to the position, having served as General Manager of the Alton River Dragons, a team in the Prospect League, for the past four years.
"The ballparks will be a busy place from now until mid-November with the Fall tournament season, before we turn our attention to 2025," Markel added.
Martz expressed his excitement about the new role, stating, "I'd like to thank Randy Markel and the entire ownership group for giving me this great opportunity to be part of continuing to grow Ballparks National. I look forward to beginning work with the staff at the ballparks and getting out to meet our sponsors and the community."
The team at Ballparks National is eager to continue delivering top-notch experiences for all visitors, and Martz’s leadership is expected to drive further success in the coming seasons.
