For decades, a Lake of the Ozarks tradition has brought the community together to support survivors of domestic violence and their families. Next week, Citizens Against Domestic Violence is celebrating that milestone with its 25th Annual Brunch.
The fundraiser is set for Wednesday, Oct. 28, at The Lodge of the Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, bringing together supporters, local businesses, and community members to raise awareness and funds for CADV's work.
Supporting Survivors At The Lake
The annual brunch is more than a meal. It helps support CADV's mission of providing hope, safety, and assistance to survivors of domestic violence and their children throughout the Lake area.
Last year’s brunch showed just how much impact the event can have. Nearly 800 people attended the Sock Hop brunch, which raised just over $195,000 in gross unrestricted funds — the highest total in the event’s history. Guests sampled dishes from 36 local restaurants, bid on auction items, and heard directly about the experiences of local survivors and the services CADV provides.
This year's "Buckles & Boots for Bravery" theme recognizes the courage of survivors while celebrating the community that continues to stand behind CADV's work.
