LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — Thunderstorms are possible every day this week across mid-Missouri, the National Weather Service warns, with hail as the most likely severe weather threat.

According to the NWS, thunderstorms are expected to develop late on Monday night, though the exact locations are uncertain. Then through Friday, the weather service is calling for a good chance of thunderstorms every day. Large hail is possible, though predictions about storm severity are still uncertain.

The NWS says flooding could also become a concern by the end of next week, as the area likely has plenty more spring storms ahead.
