Dogwood Elementary School has installed new concrete on the preschool playground to comply with ADA requirements, and local concrete business Scott's Concrete donated the concrete to make it happen.
Jane and Scott Martin of Scott’s Concrete made the donation to improve the Dogwood Elementary playground. In addition to updating their compliance with ADA requirements, the improvements provide a surface for students to enjoy tricycles and other riding toys.
Superintendent Dr. Sean Kirksey, while watching students using the new swing on the playground, described the event as witnessing “pure joy.” The Camdenton R-III School District stated that they are grateful for community support and partners, including Scott’s Concrete, who assist in providing for the needs of the students.
