A video of the attack on the twin towers was displayed on a big screen. When a New York fire chief made a radio call-out for mutual aid to all fire departments in the twin towers region, lake area EMS responders, fire, police and ambulance descended on the Laurie Park from every direction with lights flashing and sirens blaring, as a partial re-enactment of the heroic response made by emergency services.Â
