CAMDENTON, Mo. — Ozarks Amphitheater and The American Led Zeppelin, Get The Led Out band members are joining forces to give concert-goers an opportunity to help animals in need.
Get The Led Out will perform at Ozarks Amphitheater on Saturday, Aug. 26, at 8:30 p.m.
This is the second year Ozarks Amphitheater is working to raise awareness and funds for local animal shelters and rescues. Director of Operations, Mary Kay von Brendel came up with the idea to raffle tickets to raise funds for Missouri Forget Me Not Horse Rescue & Sanctuary, Dogwood Animal Shelter and Blue Moon Animal Sanctuary. Concert-goers can buy raffle tickets during the tailgate party with one of the top Blues bands in the world, The Norman Jackson Band, performing. Tailgate party starts at 6 p.m.
The winner will be chosen right before the Get The Led Out concert, and will receive two 2018 season tickets.
“It’s an awesome feeling when this world-renowned band is supporting us to help raise awareness for our local organizations,” said Mary Kay von Brendel. “We also want to thank our community for recognizing the importance of our shelters and rescues by supporting our mission to raise funds to benefit these animals. We are so excited about this promotion. Next year promises to be bigger and better with some of the best music artists coming to Ozarks Amphitheater!”
