OSAGE BEACH, Mo. — Work at the intersection of Osage Beach Parkway and Barry Prewitt Memorial Parkway, near the entrance to Hy-Vee, begins this week.

Drivers can expect delays and lane closures at that intersection, with work possible around the clock Monday through Friday. The City of Osage Beach is spending an estimated $669,000 to overhaul the intersection, which will include the replacement of control equipment in the signal lights, new asphalt overlay and construction of sidewalks at the intersection. The sidewalks will extend all the way to Ozark Gardens Apartments on Highway D behind Hy-Vee.
