The non-traditional scholarships application process is now open through The Heart of the Ozarks Professional and Business Women's group. These unique scholarships are designed for Lake Area women who have been out of school for an extended period of time and would like to either begin or continue their college education.
Anyone interested in applying for a non-traditional scholarship may request an application form by calling Peggy Cochran at 573.392.2225 or by emailing her at cochranp@charter.net. The application is also available online at www.pbwlakeoftheozarks.org. The criteria outlining eligibility for the financial gift is located on the application.Â
