It’s the double-edged sword of lake life: you’ve got a whole pile of boating accessories for all the fun you could possibly have on the water… but you’ve got nowhere to put them. The boat is full, the dock locker is full, and you can’t just leave the tubes and wakeboards and floating mats scattered all over the dock.
DockWebs solve it!
A solution that looks like it was designed by Spiderman, DockWebs are high-tension nets, designed to keep lake gear off the dock. Rated to hold 100 lbs, DockWebs are fastened to dock posts by sturdy ratchet straps, so no drilling is required. The web can be installed at any height, and over various-sized spaces.
DockWebs was invented by Steve Long, 20 years ago. His son and Director of Sales Will Long explains his dad has an “engineering brain” and invented the first-ever DockWeb out of necessity: they were sick of the clutter on their dock in Lancaster, Tenn., so Steve designed a net system to store their water toys — especially the inflatable ones.
Will says friends would regularly ask about the web, and eventually the family decided to launch DockWebs to the world. They tweaked and improved the design, incorporating a blend of materials that is stretch-resistant and weather resistant. Then they patented it, and launched it on Memorial Day of 2023.
The feedback from customers has already been fantastic, Will says. “It makes everybody’s lake weekend a lot easier and less stressful.” The company has already received quite a few product inquiries from the Lake of the Ozarks area, and Will expects that will increase as word gets out.
What customers especially love is they don’t ever have to deflate the watersports tubes anymore: they just toss them on top of the DockWeb!
Because of the versatile design, DockWebs can installed in many different places and configurations on a dock, but the best place is above the bow of the boat when it’s on the lift. Dead space, put to use! Plus, it puts all the boating gear within reach as boaters prepare to launch. Dock owners can even stack multiple webs for several tiers of storage.
“It looks very clean and seamless and the net is designed to almost look invisible,” Will said, adding, “It’s been tough for us to get a really good picture of just the net! We designed it that way on purpose because we don't want a big eyesore. The goal here is to make everything look clean and organized.”
DockWebs are assembled in the USA, and the company is veteran-owned.

Here’s what DockWeb owners typically store on their webs:
-Floating mats (lily pads)
-Tubes
-Paddle boards
-Surf boards
-Wake boards
-Water skis
-Life jackets
-Paddles
-Water toys
Will also noted that while dock lockers can be a great solution for storing certain things on a dock, they tend to have minimal ventilation, so storing waterlogged water toys can result in funky smells and mildew/mold. DockWebs allow those water toys to air-dry, keeping them in better shape, longer.
Customers are already talking about how easy DockWebs are to install, Will said. Thanks to the straightforward design and online installation video, boaters can get their DockWebs installed themselves, in a snap.

Boaters love DockWebs! Here are a few testimonials…
For us at Center Hill Marina, DockWebs checks all the boxes. A locally owned and operated company started by a US Veteran. From a management perspective, they make my job easier. They are very communicative and prompt. For our tenants, they are getting a superior product. DockWebs is partially responsible for getting our docks cleaned up. Their durable design allows tenants to feel at ease storing all of their tubes, ropes, life jackets, etc off of the walkways and fingers. We have found that tenants are much more satisfied with their slip when the docks are clean and organized. DockWebs help make that happen. It is an easy product to sell that improves our overall appearance. I highly recommend them to all of our tenants.

“Very elegant dock shelf. I installed the standard size DockWeb in a matter of 15 minutes! The instructions are very simple and accurate. The construction of the shelf is extremely durable, and I have loaded it up with heavy ski gear, not just inflatables. I have been looking for an affordable dock storage option for years, and this is it. I highly recommend the DockWeb.”

The DockWeb storage system is the perfect solution for my boathouse. I keep ski gear safely off the deck while it’s drying or even the big tube out of the way when that is out. Every component of the system is very well made, from the packaging and directions to the actual net and velcro covers that keep the straps tidy.
