The Encore Lakeside Grill and Sky Bar is Lake of the Ozarks’ newest and hottest restaurant & entertainment complex, and after going to try their menu I can also tell you that it’s one of the best! Started by Developer & restauranteur Merlyn Vandervort, of Rumors Steakhouse and Horny Toad fame, The Encore blends a fine dining experience with a fun and friendly atmosphere.

The world-class entertainment complex with three stages and over 8,000 square feet of covered patio space, the lakeside pool, and of course the iconic roof top Sky Bar and Amphitheatre. So if you’re looking to mix it up, this sandwich is truly a foodie's dream! The sandwich comes with a side of sweet potato fries that came out hot and crispy with a sweet and salty kick. I walked into Encore not a fan of sweet potato fries, but these won me over!

Hearty Steak & Vegetable Soup

This dish is a classic and there’s no way to go wrong with it. The Hearty Steak and Vegetable Soup is rich and generous, with veggies cooked to perfection: no hard crunch and certainly no mush either, right down the middle for the best veg! On top of a stellar soup, is the bread bowl that it’s served in with its crackling outer crust and a light, soft inside.

Piña Colada Chicken

This Piña Colada Chicken is bringing the tropics to Missouri! With a Caribbean curry sauce, fragrant herbs and a pineapple sweetness that ends with a warm burn of spice, you can’t go wrong with the Piña Colada Chicken. The toasted coconut, curry vanilla bean oil, and fresh pineapple topping is surprising and (unsurprisingly) delicious. Carrots and buttery green beans served on the side are complimented perfectly by the sauce for an all-around amazing meal!

Peach Mojito

This drink is a peach paradise! With vibrant natural flavors of peach and an undercurrent of mint and citrus, the Peach Mojito is sure to be a summer favorite. The drink is made with a mix of Bacardi, mint leaves, mango, simple syrup, soda water and muddled peach puree, that all combine for a cool cocktail to beat the summer heat!

Godiva Chocolate Coffee Martini

Coffee, chocolate, and alcohol, truly a match made in heaven! And this Godiva cocktail is a chocolate lover’s dream, with rich gourmet chocolate perfectly paired with the decadent taste of coffee (and, of course, a little kick of vodka!) This drink is a sure-fire way to bring luxury into any evening.

Key Lime Martini

Ever thought key lime pie would make a great drink? The bartenders at Encore had the same idea and knocked it out of the park! This drink brings a wonderful combination of sugary sweetness and the citrus-y richness of key lime that keeps the drink down to earth.

With 147 rooms, the property will undergo extensive renovations and will be rebranded as The Resort at Lake of the Ozarks. a great place to stay for families, couples and professionals traveling to the Lake and now with The Encore Lakeside Grill & Sky Bar right next door!

The Resort also boasts an indoor swimming pool and will soon have a beautiful conference space and wedding pavilion, and the rest of the resort will soon be getting some serious TLC in the form of renovations!
