As the rumble of powerboats fades with the passing of summer, thousands of motorcyclists are revving their engines across the Lake area this weekend for BikeFest.

The event, which runs from Wednesday through Sunday, Sept, 12–16 brings bikers to hundreds of local bars and restaurants across the tri-county area, for events and live music, a Lake-wide passport run, and giveaways. One lucky BikeFest participant will take home a 2017 FXDL 103 Dyna Low Rider.

Of course, the freedom of the open road means the freedom to go where you want. But in case bikers want a little guidance about some scenic and worthwhile cruises, Bikefest event organizers provide three main "cruises," with maps, that showcase the natural beauty and communities of the Lake of the Ozarks.
