The Lake of the Ozarks Idiots Club (also known as "Jesters of Goodwill") set a new record while raising money for Lake area youth in poverty over the past year. Their unpaid volunteers raised $314,123.15, making it the biggest fiscal year in the 10-year history of the charity.

This non-profit organization was founded in 2014 by Denny and Danna Hiner. According to the Idiots Club, 50% of Lake area youth live under the federal poverty line, so they have an immense opportunity to make an impact. In total, the club has spent over $1,000,000 in giving kids the things they need most.

The Idiots Club held multiple fundraisers throughout the year, including Dogwood Dodgeball Tournament, which was a success, raising $18,316.

Across five Lake area school districts in the past fiscal year, the club was able to assist youth 11,317 times. In all, they have provided 50,000 different youth assists.

Thanks to various generous donors and many selfless people willing to donate their time, Lake of the Ozarks Idiots Club continues to make a difference in children's and youths' lives.
