It's November at Lake of the Ozarks: fall is still here, but Christmas is right around the corner.

At the Lake, November means beautiful fall weather and ample opportunities to be outdoors and enjoy it. The peak of fall foliage is past, but early November especially lends itself to plenty of picturesque hikes and voyages by land or by boat.

Ha Ha Tonka State Park: The obvious choice! Walking the million (ok, it's only 316, but it feels like more) wooden steps from the castle down to the gorgeous blue springs, and then back up... it's a perfect way to enjoy the colors and temperatures of fall and find beautiful views of the Lake.

Lake Of The Ozarks State Park: Several trails offer varying lengths and terrain. Until the weather gets colder, you'll still want to spray down with something to keep the ticks and chiggers at bay. Start your hike at the Trail Center. Click here to view a map.
