CAMDENTON, Mo. — A bear was sighted running around neighborhoods Monday night in the Camdenton area.Â
Ken Henderson drove by the black bear around 8:30 p.m., May 20. She spotted it just past the Camdenton Memorial Airport on Old South 5.Â
Another person allegedly saw the bear earlier near Panoramic Drive. This video was shared on Facebook.Â
For anyone who thought about approaching the animal, Camden County Commissioner James Gohagan jokingly — though accurately — reminded residents that wrestling a bear is a crime! (RSMo Section 578.176)Â
READER POLL: Do You Think You Could Beat A Bear In A Wrestling Match?
LakeExpo does not condone wrestling a bear (as it's against the law and generally not a good idea) but hypothetically speaking... we're curious how readers think they'd do in a hand-to-hand combat match.
