Lake Of The Ozarks Restaurant Closes Permanently After Catastrophic Waterline Break

LAKE OZARK, Mo. — The fine-dining steakhouse Tavern on the Bend announced that it is closing permanently on Friday. 

Owner Aaron Juckette said in a Facebook post Feb. 9 that the decision came after a broken waterline. The amount of time and energy needed to reopen the restaurant on Horseshoe Bend Parkway was more than they anticipated. 

"We would like to thank our staff, community, and friends for being so supportive of the restaurant," Juckette said in the post. 

Many people commented on the closing, saying they would miss the food and atmosphere. Other reminisced on the service and are hoping that they can start fresh at another location.
