The final episode of the A&E show Ozark Law featured fallen Officer Phylicia Carson. The season finale, called "End of Watch," premiered on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
Carson, a 33-year-old mother of six, tragically lost her life on Aug. 31 last year in a car crash while assisting another officer during a pursuit.
In a press release Thursday, the City of Osage Beach and PD released a statement, saying the episode brought back bittersweet memories.
"While we remain grateful for this final glimpse of Officer Carson, the show was also a painful reminder of our grief, felt especially by the officers who served by her side night after night," according to the statement. "Yet, our sorrow is nothing compared to the loss felt by her family."
Although officials appreciated the outpouring of support, they requested the Carson family's privacy continue to be respected.
