LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — Gutsy racer Brad Rowland set a new Shootout pontoon record on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016 with a 114 mph run in his pontoon Tooned In II.

Rowland flew down the race course in his 2015 25-foot South Bay Pontoon. The boat sports three 3.0 liter Pro Max Merc 300 outboard engines, with an output topping 1,000 horsepower.

The previous record of 109 was held by Rowland, who won Top Gun in last year's Shootout pontoon division.
