MILLER COUNTY, Mo. — A Eugene man was arrested last week after a drug investigation led authorities to methamphetamine, a stolen firearm, and multiple sheriff’s office badges.
According to the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Mid-Missouri Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force and Miller County deputies executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Eugene Road in unincorporated Eugene on May 1.
During the search, detectives arrested 45-year-old Beau James Brinker of Eugene. Authorities say they located approximately 18 grams of methamphetamine, cash, a stolen firearm, and four badges belonging to the Cole County, Callaway County, and Miller County sheriff’s offices.

Brinker was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, a Class C felony under Missouri law. He was initially held on a $100,000 surety-only bond but has since bonded out.
The sheriff’s office said Brinker has prior offenses including possession of a controlled substance, property damage, stealing, and protection order violations. Authorities also noted he was on probation through the Missouri Department of Corrections at the time of his arrest stemming from a previous search warrant executed in October 2022.
“This is an excellent example of agencies coming together in order to rid the community of these toxic chemicals being sold by repeat offenders,” the sheriff’s office stated in the release.
All charges are accusations, and Brinker is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
