Hoops, fun, and giving back are coming together at Dase Jam 2025! The second annual event, honoring the late Dasan McNerney, is set for April 12.
The Saturday event starts with 3-on-3 basketball tournament at School of the Osage and wraps up with a lively silent auction dinner at Memory Lane Events.
See pictures and check out what they accomplished at last year's Dase Jam! They donated over $60,000 to charities, scholarships, and a local family.
3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
The tournament begins at 8 a.m., offering both recreational and competitive leagues. Teams of up to five players can register for $250.
The fun isn’t limited to the court. Family-friendly activities, including a slam dunk contest, relay races, bracelet making, and pop-a-shot games, will keep spectators entertained. Admission is free for all attendees!
Silent Auction Dinner
Doors open at 6 p.m. for the silent auction dinner at "The Grove" at Memory Lane Events. Tickets are $75 and include dinner catered by Angela’s Lake Catering, games, raffles, and live music with a DJ. Silent and live auctions will also feature prizes to benefit a good cause.
Supporting a Legacy
Proceeds from Dase Jam support college scholarships and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, continuing Dasan McNerney’s legacy of community impact. Known as "D MAC," Dasan was a basketball enthusiast and a mentor who lived by Zig Ziglar’s mantra: "You will have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want."
Diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2009, Dasan faced his challenges with resilience, dedicating his life to helping others before his passing in January 2023. His memory lives on through the DMAC Impact Foundation, which uplifts others through aid and mentorship.
