Boat Gas steady, despite increase on land

LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. – Perhaps it’s a temporary reprieve. Maybe average price of boat gas is about to break $4. A 20-cent per-gallon increase on land since last week suggests now is the time to fill up the boat. Marinas across the lake are sticking at $3.99 give or take a dime.

Diesel and Premium gas increase a solid dime since last week and the momentum appears headed upward barring a breakdown in crude-oil futures.

Formula Boats of Missouri continues as the cheapest gas on the Lake: $3.669 87 Octane, $4.149 93 Octane, $3.699 Diesel. All Formula gas is served up with ValvTect.

COMMODITIES MARKET

The price of oil climbed for a fourth day on expectations of more efforts to fix the global economy. On the New York Mercantile Exchange: Benchmark crude rose 74 cents to finish at $90.13 per barrel. Gasoline rose 7.4 cents to end the week at $2.8878 per gallon. Brent crude rose $1.21 to end at $106.47 per barrel.
