LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — A Florida teen was hospitalized on Thursday after being seriously injured in a waterskiing incident.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 14-year-old was skiing around the 4 Mile Marker of the Gravois Arm, in Mill Creek Cove, when the ski got hung up in the wake. The teen was wearing a life jacket, according to the report. He was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
