LAKE OF THE OZARKS Mo. — One of the most well-known names in powerboating will join the prestigious Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Hall of Fame this year.
Shootout Race Director Ron Duggan announced on Wednesday that Bob Bull, of CMS Offshore Racing, will be inducted into the Shootout Hall of Fame during this year's event.
"Bob's been such a great supporter of the Shootout, especially since it moved to Captain Ron's," Duggan said. "Every year he's there."
Bull's impossible-to-miss, orange, 52-foot catamaran dubbed CMS 3 has wowed Shootout crowds not only because of its speed down the race course, but also because of the unique Shootout events Bull has joined in.

"He does whatever we ask him to do," Duggan noted, pointing to the annual drag race that pits Bull's boat against an airplane — a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
"It was nice that the committee chose to honor Bob and his accomplishments at the Shootout," Duggan said.
