LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — An Adrian, Mo. man was injured on Monday when two fishing boats collided in the upper region of Lake of the Ozarks.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident happened around the 80 Mile Marker, when a boat driven by 57-year-old Robert Talley of Holden, Mo. crashed into the rear port side of a boat driven by 57-year-old Gerald Adkins, of Warsaw, Mo. Both boats sustained some damage but were able to be driven from the scene. However, 63-year-old Gary Thompson of Adrian, Mo., sustained minor injuries, according to the report, and was taken by Lincoln Warsaw EMS to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment.
