LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — The Midwest’s biggest boat race paid off in a big way for charities and fire districts around the Lake of the Ozarks, when event organizers presented nearly $200,000 to 34 different entities.

Race Director Ron Duggan presented the checks on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at Captain Ron's Bar & Grill. The full list of donations and recipients is below.

The race raised $195,253 this year — setting another record, and continuing an annual trend. In 2015, the race raised $175,000. In 2014, it raised $125,000.

If that trend continues, the event will likely break the $200,000 mark in 2017.
