Summerset Boat Lifts Relocating To Camdenton, New Facility To Double Capacity

CAMDENTON, Mo. — Summerset Boat Lifts, a family-owned Lake of the Ozarks renowned boat lift retailer, announced today that they are underway with relocating their local dealership to expand their operations and retail space. The retail boat lift company is moving to 5505 Old South 5, Camdenton, Missouri to nearly double their retail space as they expand to a 35,000 square foot facility.

The 35,000 sq. ft. facility will house their parent company, DuraTek Boat Lifts, and Summerset Boat Lifts under one roof for added efficiency.

Since 1982, Summerset Boat Lifts has provided boaters on Lake of the Ozarks with the most rugged and dependable boat and PWC lifts coupled with the best customer service. In 2021, Summerset Boat Lifts was purchased by the St. Clair family that also purchased boat lift manufacturer, Galva Hoist, and rebranded to DuraTek Boat Lifts.

When asked about the decision to move, Director of Sales Pack St. Clair said, “As Summerset continues to grow, we saw that we had outgrown our current facilities and needed more retail space, ground storage for new and used boat lifts, and a designated pre-assembly site to put boat lifts together before installation. This combined location with our boat lift manufacturing company allows us to have the space we need and the ability to grow our boat lift offering on LOZ for years to come.”

In addition to the new location, DuraTek Boat Lifts is promoting Ron Witt to Vice President. Familiar faces will still be recognized as Steve Armstrong remains in his key position as General Manager of Summerset Boat Lifts. “Our entire team is looking forward to this move and having more space to store and assemble boat lifts,” said Armstrong. He went on to say, “We are also excited to announce that we are adding two new additional service trucks to our fleet to compliment the three on-water service boats we already have.”

Summerset Boat Lifts plans to have an official ribbon cutting with a come and go reception for customers to visit and see the new facility in early 2024.
