The party scheduled as a kickoff to the inaugural Tow-Boat Tie-Up has been moved from Margaritaville to Dog Days.
This weekend, the new event, organized by Stateamind Water Sports and IMG, welcomes all who love wakesports to join in a Friday night party and a Saturday tie-up. The party was originally planned to be at Margaritaville, but organizers recently announced it had been moved to Dog Days.

Weekend Schedule
• Friday, June 17 -- Family Fun Party at Dog Days -- TIME: 7 p.m.
• Saturday, June 18 -- Morning wakesports fun at Linn Creek Cove & afternoon tie-up events -- TIME: Lake:30
It all starts Friday night, June 17, with a welcome party at Dog Days. The Tow-Boat Tie-Up is an event for wakesports fans to connect over the activity they love, so the welcome party is a chance to do that, on land.
Then the next morning, wake enthusiasts will hit Linn Creek Cove at the 31MM to shred and cove out, all afternoon.
James Otto, of Stateamind, said a big boat will be at the entrance of the Tow-Boat Tie-Up area, so boaters know where to go. And they've got some plans to help enhance the fun. "We’re doing a ton of giveaways," he said. "We’ve been able to connect with a bunch of awesome sponsors that are providing giveaways, surfboards, swimsuits, apparel, float play pads. You name it, we’re giving it away!"
Otto says he thinks the event will help grow the culture of wakesports at Lake of the Ozarks. "It’s all about the friends and the people you meet along the way," he said. "Those are some of my greatest memories of being on the boat and surfing. The community I’ve become a part of has really become a family for me and to have something like this at Lake of the Ozarks will be really cool."
