LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — A large commercial dock broke loose from the shoreline amid severe thunderstorms that brought high winds through the Lake area on Saturday, July 4.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the dock was located around the 6 Mile Marker, floating freely in the Lake.
As of Saturday evening, MSHP Sergeant Kyle Green said the Patrol was not sure where the dock had broken loose from, but Green says it was secured to the shore nearby while the owner is located.
