Attention Boat Captains! Get A Front Row Seat At Shootout By Volunteering With LOWA

Looking for a front row seat for Shootout? If you’re a boat captain, the Lake of the Ozarks Watershed Alliance (LOWA) has an opportunity to see the races up-close!

The Shootout, the Lake’s biggest unsanctioned boat race, runs Saturday – Sunday, Aug. 28-29. To keep the event safe and fun, patrol assistance is needed to make sure spectators don’t get too close to the racers. The perk: volunteers get a premium spot on the water to watch the race!

For anyone interested in volunteering and getting their front-row seat at Shootout, contact Samantha Shwenk at 573-836-080 or email adminasst@lowatershed.org.
