From insurance, to chocolate. In the world of powerboat racing, all types of businesses love making a splash.

Most recently, the 47-foot Victory catamaran formerly known as Miss GEICO has been sold. The new owner? Sweden-based Huski Chocolate and Huski Wear. The catamaran powered by Mercury Racing 1100 engines and formerly owned by the AMF Racing group in Riviera Beach, Fla. will run in the Class 1 category at the Race World Offshore-produced American Power Boat Association Offshore World Championships, Nov. 7-14, in Key West, Fla. It'll be driven by none other than champion powerboat racer Steve Curtis.

At Lake of the Ozarks, Curtis is well-known as the driver of the fastest boat ever to run in the Shootout: the Mystic catamaran Spirit of Qatar. In 2016, Spirit of Qatar ran a blistering 244 mph, with Curtis at the helm.
