LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — Center consoles have changed the Lake of the Ozarks boating landscape, and Iguana Marine Group in Osage Beach is leaning into it. The company announced today they will now be the Lake of the Ozarks dealer for HCB Custom Center Consoles, a high-end center console brand that blends luxury, performance, and a truly customized experience.
HCB builds the world’s largest center-console yacht, and they build every one of their boats with top standards of perfection.

“In center consoles, I’ve never seen boats built to this level of care and quality,” said Nick Franklin, sales manager at IMG. The dealership took their first HCB boat on Thursday — a 39-footer — and it’s available for boaters to come and see. It will also be at the Spring In-Water Boat Show on April 21 – 23 at Dog Days. But Franklin expects many customers will want to build their own custom center console, and HCB is ready for it.
Franklin says HCB Custom Center Consoles focuses on a one-of-a-kind experience for buyers from start to finish. Buyers typically custom-build their boats, and that includes HCB flying them out to their Vonore, TN factory for the crucero experience. Crucero is the spanish word for “cruise,” and HCB wants the boat-building experience to feel like a luxury cruise. Each boater receives their own concierge who walks with them throughout the process. The turnaround time is remarkable, too: from start to finish, HCB can have a custom boat built for a customer in as little as 8 weeks.
This is the first time HCB has been sold at Lake of the Ozarks. VP of Sales and Marketing Dave Russell said, “HCB is thrilled to add Iguana Marine Group to our exclusive network of dealer annexes. Franklin points to the growing interest in center consoles here. The boat style offers ample seating, is designed to handle rough water, and — as evidenced by HCB — comes with abundant luxury appointments. HCB center consoles brilliantly utilize space in order to offer the high-end entertaining elements of a galley while maximizing the oh-so-comfy seating and space to move around the boat.

Many boaters are “upgrading” to center consoles from their cruisers, Franklin said, especially boaters who enjoy the go-fast scene. In fact, these center-consoles are so powerful, they often end up becoming the performance boater’s favorite. HCB’s center consoles come with up to six outboards on their largest, (65-foot) model, and three on their 39-foot models.
