Several rounds of severe thunderstorms brought heavy rain, high wind, and very large hail to parts of the Lake on Wednesday, May 8.

Large hail was reported in north Camdenton, Macks Creek, and Linn Creek. Camdenton Feed, Seed & Supply sent LakeExpo photos of 1" hail found on the ground 10 to 15 minutes after the hailstorm had passed. Hail up to 3" in size was reported in that area by the National Weather Service.
