A sudden July 4th storm left thousands of boaters stranded in high winds and massive waves. At Pirate's Point Gas Dock, the dock crew ran to the aid of boaters who pulled into the dock slips during the worsening storm.

At one point, a man stepping off a pontoon fell, and others gathered around him to help bring him to his feet and escape.
