MILLER COUNTY, Mo. — Prosecutor Ben Winfrey announced on Friday evening that his office had charged two in connection with the vandalism of School of the Osage buses that led to the cancellation of school on Monday, April 4.
Shane Sabourin and Alexander Keith were both charged with 18 counts of 1st Degree Tampering, a Class C Felony. The prosecution alleges Sabourin and Keith damaged 18 school buses. A Class C felony carries a potential sentence of up to seven years in prison.
Both Sabourin and Keith are being held in custody in Miller County, on a $200,000 bond.
Winfrey thanked the Miller County Sheriff’s Department for its help in the investigation.
