CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A woman from the Lake area was hospitalized Monday after a single-vehicle crash on Highway D.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 48-year-old Kaiser woman was driving a Honda Element too fast for curvy road conditions when it began skidding and went off the roadway around 6:48 p.m., Aug. 24. The car hit a tree and overturned near Locust Road.

The woman, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt, sustained serious injuries in the crash. An ambulance transported her to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
