Jeep Hits Utility Pole On Route TT, Seriously Injuring Sunrise Beach Man

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Sunrise Beach was hospitalized Wednesday after a single-vehicle crash on Route TT. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 86-year-old was driving a Jeep Cherokee around 4:20 p.m., Oct. 14, when it went off the roadway and hit a utility pole at Shawnee View Drive. 

The man sustained serious injuries in the crash. Lake West Ambulance transported him to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. 

The Jeep had extensive damage, and was removed from the scene by Grand Towing.
