LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — A boat is stuck on the rocks, at the Lake of the Ozarks' 13 Mile Marker, in front of the Lodge of Four Seasons.

The boat — a large, older-model Formula — got stuck on Friday night, according to a Lake Expo source, and was left there overnight. As of Saturday afternoon, the boat had not been removed. No injuries have been reported in connection with the grounding.

The underwater ridge that caused the trouble extends from the point at the end of Black Hawk Dr. to the island in front of the Lodge.

Aerial photos and Google Maps images reveal the danger, but it's marked by multiple buoys on the water, too.

It's unclear how much damage the boat may have sustained, but if the hull is significantly punctured, any towing operation would require the use of a powerful pump and/or airbags in order to ensure the boat doesn't sink while it's being brought to land.

For now, boaters in the area should be aware of the boat's presence, in an area it'd be best to avoid anyhow.
