LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — This week is expected to be full of warm temperatures and sunshine with only a slight chance of rain on Tuesday and Saturday nights. Heat indexes of 92 and 100 predicted for Monday and Tuesday.

The most recent data as of publishing shows that on Sept. 2, the Lake of the Ozarks water level was at 659.30 feet with a surface water temperature of 85 degrees. As of Aug. 24, the Truman Lake water level was at 716.5 feet. Bagnell Dam was discharging 34,622.9 SFD. Truman Dam was discharging 23,202.1 SFD.

Monday: Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high around 87 and heat index values as high as 92. Light SE wind.

Monday Night: Clear with a low near 69 and light SE wind.  

Tuesday: Sunny and hot with a high around 92 and heat index values as high as 100. SE wind 5-11 mph.

Tuesday Night: 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms between 10 p.m. and midnight. Partly cloudy with a low near 68 and SW wind at 5-8 mph becoming light and variable. 

Wednesday: Sunny with a high around 82 and N wind around 7 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear with a low around 62.

Thursday: Sunny with a high around 86.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear with a low near 69.

Friday: Sunny with a high around 88.

Friday Night: Mostly clear with a low near 64.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high around 80.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy with a low near 62, and a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
