LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — It looks like it's going to be another hot start to this week at the Lake! A Heat Advisory will be in affect on Monday from 1 - 8 p.m., with heat indexes as high as 105 possible. Highs drop to 88 on Tuesday, with temperatures remaining in the upper-80s to lower-90s throughout the rest of the week.
The most recent data as of publishing shows that on Aug. 12, the Lake of the Ozarks water level was at 658.63 feet with a surface water temperature of 81 degrees. As of Aug. 10, the Truman Lake water level was at 718.3 feet. Bagnell Dam was discharging 50,353 SFD. Truman Dam was discharging 49,415 SFD.

Monday: Sunny and hot with a high around 97 and heat index values as high as 105. 20 percent chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms before 11 a.m. S wind 6-13 mph.
Monday Night: Increasing clouds with a low near 75 and a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 a.m. Some storms could produce heavy rainfall. SW wind 6-10 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a high around 88 and a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8 a.m. NW wind 6-8 mph.
