The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking public comment on a new interchange that will replace a stoplight intersection on Highway 54.

The public hearing is set for Tuesday, July 24, from 4 – 6 p.m., at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 755 Bagnell Dam Boulevard in Lake Ozark, which overlooks the intersection. The meeting facility is accessible to people with disabilities.

The specific intersection is U.S. Route 54 at Business Route 54 and Miller County Route W in Lake Ozark. Construction is scheduled to begin in late 2019.

No formal presentation will be made. The public may attend the hearing at any time between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to speak with MoDOT staff. Various project displays will be available and the public is encouraged to ask questions and provide input. MoDOT says all comments will be taken into consideration and made a part of the project file.

Displays and project information presented at the public hearing will also be available at www.modot.org/central. For more information, call toll free 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636).
