When you order shrimp at a restaurant, it’s tempting to expect something on the average-to-smallish scale. But with Paradise’s Baja Shrimp Bowl, these are no wimpy shrimpies!

I absolutely love rice bowls and have eaten them at several different restaurants over the years. Though I’ve never met a rice bowl I didn’t like, Paradise’s colorful and zesty Baja Shrimp Bowl is the new champion!

First of all, the portion size is… well, unexpectedly generous. Served in something like a salad bowl on steroids, the fluffy white rice is topped with a compilation of six large perfectly grilled and seasoned shrimp, black beans, corn salsa (made in-house), sour cream, guacamole, and salsa and filled to the brim.

The six shrimp’s seasoning give them a kick without being overpoweringly spicy. And pardon the mixed-metaphor, but the signature corn salsa tastes utterly beautiful! It adds a rainbow of bright and fresh elements to the shrimp bowl that can be both tasted and seen. Last but not least, the three scoops of salsa, sour cream, and guacamole top it all off with the perfect finishing touch. Any rice bowl lover will be blown away, and anyone who previously felt “meh” about rice bowls (who are you?!) will want to return to Paradise, again and again.
