Nolan L. Sousley

Nolan L. Sousley, age 52, of Versailles, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born December 28, 1966, in Jefferson City, a son of Robert E. Sousley and June L. Brewer.

He had a passion for helping others and most recently was a patient rights advocate for cannabis.

Nolan enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, gardening and enjoyed deejaying events for many years.

He is survived by his children, Tylor Sousley and husband Michael Maxwell of Olathe, Kansas, Emmy Sousley and significate other Jalon White of Versailles, Missouri, Logan Sousley of Kansas City, Kansas and Dominic Sousley of Columbia, Missouri; his granddaughter, Kinsley White; his significant other, Amber Kidwell of the home; his mother, June Sousley of Versailles, Missouri; brother, Ray Sousley and wife Lynn of Kansas City, Missouri; nephews, Slater and Turner Sousley; step-children, Koltin, Adelle, Nichole, Alex and Kelsay and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Sousley and his grandmother, Emma Sousley.

A celebration of Nolan’s life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 7th at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Barnett. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 

Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
