Obituary of Kenneth Albert Turner
Kenneth Albert Turner, age 74, of Humansville, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021, at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Kenneth Albert was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to Kenneth and Katherine Turner. He attended North Kansas City High School, was a US Navy Veteran and a member of the Cherokee Nation.
Kenneth Albert was a funny, compassionate and caring man who would lend a hand to anyone. He made many friends over the years. He loved tossing back a cold one, picking his guitar, fishing, spending time in the outdoors and mowing his yard.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Rachelle Turner-Holmes; his longtime companion, Patricia Sue Smith; his furry friend, Ruger; grandson, Blaytn Turner; granddaughter, Mary Holmes; great-grandson, Clayton Liner; brother, Billy Dean Turner; sister, Debbie Sue George (Randy); uncles, Don Stout and Lester Tippit and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
Kenneth Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Katherine Turner, his sons, Shane and Chad Turner, his brothers, Richard and Vester Lee Turner, sister, Nancy Turner, sister-in-law, Naomi Turner, paternal grandparents, Vester and Edith Turner, his maternal grandparents, Lee and Nora Tippit, uncle, Bill Tippit and aunt, Alice Tippit, his nephew, Richard D. Turner and great-nephew, Dylan Hedges.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
