Jeremy Louis Luebbering, age 43, of St. Martins formerly of St. Thomas, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 1, 2019. He was born in Jefferson City on January 8, 1976, son of William “Bill” and Betty Jo (Benne) Luebbering.
Jeremy was a 1994 graduate of Blair Oaks High School. Following graduation Jeremy went on to work in the automotive industry becoming the co-owner of Professional Automotive Service in Jefferson City.
He enjoyed fishing and farming and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was helpful to anyone in need and proudly supported all branches of the military and its veterans. Jeremy was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church.
He is survived by his significant other, Tammi Beeson of the home, parents William “Bill” and Betty Jo Luebbering of St. Thomas; five brothers, Clinton Luebbering (Christa) of Wardsville, Nathan Luebbering (Renee) of St. Thomas, Shannon Luebbering (Elena) of St. Louis, Justin Luebbering (Jamie) of Jefferson City, and Jarret Luebbering (Kasie) of St. Thomas; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Jerome and Lucy Luebbering, maternal grandparents, Louis and Anna Benne, and uncle, Glenn Luebbering.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Fr. Jeremy Secrist and Fr. Leonard Mukiibi officiating. Interment will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service led by Fr. Don Antweiler at 4 p.m., on Tuesday, June 4, at the church.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Special Learning Center, which was a cause close to Jeremy’s heart.
