Faye L. Rushton, age 85, of Marmaduke, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at Laurie Care Center, Laurie, Missouri. She was born August 10, 1934 in Black Oak Arkansas, a daughter of Hugh and Alma (Clark) Ward.

Faye married Lloyd Cleveland in 1955 and they had only one child, Melinda, in 1956. Faye married Bill Rushton in 1997 and they lived in Searcy, Arkansas until Bill passed in 2016.

Faye graduated high school in 1953 in Marmaduke, Arkansas. She worked from 1953 to 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri at Swift and Co. as a clerk typist. In her later years, Faye worked as a travel agent in Searcy and was able to see much of the world with many of her favorite clients.

Faye was a longtime member of the College Church of Christ since 1974 in Searcy, Arkansas. Faye moved to Laurie to be near and cared for by her sole daughter Melinda.

Survivors include her daughter, Melinda “Mindy” Rosenbach; son-in-law, Terry Rosenbach both of Gravois Mills, Missouri and two grandchildren, Justin Rosenbach and wife Lisa of Sunrise Beach, Missouri and Alex Rosenbach and fiancé Evelyn Yak of Salt Lake City, Utah. Faye was fortunate to be able to see and play with her two great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Rosenbach (age 4) and Raylynn Rosenbach (age 1) who live in Sunrise Beach, Missouri.

Faye was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Ward in 1956; her mother, Alma Ward in 1977; eight sisters and four brothers.

Faye will be missed by all who knew her as she was a person who always took the time to be of service to and friends with everyone she knew.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date, based on the current world-wide health situation
