Delphia Rhoda (Morrow) Sons, age 93, of Brumley, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. Her favorite pastime was fishing. She had a talent for sewing hand-pieced quilts and was a master gardener by trade. She was a member of the Quilting Bees and past president of the Brumley Fireflies. Delphia was a member of Rodden Church of Christ.
She is survived by four children, Judy (Steve) Wall-Oliver, Patsy (James) Phillips, Paul (Cyndi) Sons, and Mary Lou (David) Gamm; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Charles (Bo) Morrow; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Weeks and Joyce Wall and two brothers, Wesley Morrow and Cotton Morrow; and four sisters, Leona Robinett, Brooksie Sons, Mae Duncan, and Faye Duncan.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Friday, June 11, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Warren Mitchell officiating. Interment will be held in Robinett Cemetery near Brumley.
