Obituary of Audrey Muxlow

Audrey Winona Muxlow, 92, of Gravois Mills, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles, Missouri. She was born March 9, 1929 in Osborne County, Kansas a daughter of Aaron Wesley and Janie (McColl) Beck.

On October 10, 1948 in Russell, Kansas, she was united in marriage to Robert Lloyd Muxlow. Together they shared sixty-eight years of marriage before his passing on December 14, 2016.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and ten siblings.

Survivors include three children, Jody Gunn and husband Gene of Prairie Village, Kansas, Deborah Sixta and husband Bill of Overland Park, Kansas and Curtis Muxlow of Gravois Mills, Missouri; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Audrey was raised in Kansas and was a graduate of Russell High School. She received a certificate after completing secretarial school in Kansas City, Missouri. She made a career working for the Federal Government in several agencies, including the Social Security Administration, the U.S. Postal Service and the Treasury Department. In 1993, Audrey and Robert retired to the Lake of the Ozarks.

In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and gardening. She loved doting on her children and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
