The official first look for Ozark season four has been released by Netflix on Saturday and offers a few new details about how season four is expected to start. This is the final season for the the series that follows money launderer Marty Byrde and his family attempt to survive the Mexican cartel and other threats at the Lake of the Ozarks.

The official first look starts with a wide shot of what looks like a party in Mexico, or more specifically Navarro's son’s baptism, complete with a carousel and Latin music playing in the background. The scene then cuts to Marty and Wendy alone in front of a sink, washing the blood and gore off themselves  from the sudden execution of a major character that happened in the last moments of season three. (no spoilers on who it is for anyone not up to date on the series!) The clip is less than two minutes long and includes almost no dialogue other than Wendy, on the edge of tears, asking Marty to help her get what looks like brain out of her hair.

The clip is short and offers little new information for what’s to come in season 4 but certainly sets the tone for the coming season, and makes it clear that the stakes are still high. The release date for the new season hasn’t been yet but this teaser has us all wanting more!
