MILLER COUNTY, Mo. — A 57-year-old woman was killed in a house fire in Mary's Home, Mo. on Tuesday.

According to the Cole County Fire Protection District, crews responded to a call about a structure fire at 576 Old Ten Mile Road in Miller County on Tuesday, March 6 at 5:20 p.m. The home was fully involved when fire apparatus arrived.  The District had eleven apparatus on the scene.

Firefighters were notified of a possible person inside the home, but were not able to get access because of the fire's intensity. Once the blaze was brought under control after about 45 minutes, authorities say the body of 57-year-old Sandra Bush was found in a back bedroom. Miller County Medical Examiner ruled Bush's death an accident and determined cause of death due to smoke inhalation. Fire district personnel were on the scene until 11:30 p.m.

The District received another call at 5:51 a.m. Wednesday, March 7 about a reported explosion and structure fire at the same address.  When units arrived the structure was completely involved in flames and on the ground.
