OSAGE BEACH, Mo. — Fire broke out inside KK Jewelers in Osage Beach on Monday afternoon.

The fire started sometime around 4 p.m. Osage Beach Fire Protection District crews were on the scene, as well as a ladder truck from Lake Ozark Fire. Mid County, Sunrise, and Gravois Fire were also activated.

The fire appeared to be contained to the far left side, on the inside of the building, with smoke rising from the roof vents. Flames could still be seen inside, at around 4:40 p.m., as firefighters attacked the blaze from the front of the building.

No information is currently available on how the fire started. The building appeared to have sustained significant damage inside, but no obvious structural damage could be seen. LakeExpo will update when more information is released by the fire district.
